I’m Joh, PhD candidate with the Plant Functional Biology and Climate Change Cluster at the University of Technology, Sydney and member of the 2016 Shell Questacon Science Circus. I’m currently learning how to better communicate scientific knowledge and research to the public through the Australian National University, whilst waiting for my doctoral thesis to make it through the grueling review process. This blog is filled with science trivia for your entertainment. Things that are surprising, things that make you think, things that make you laugh; anything I find in my spare time trawling through the internet that I find interesting and horrifically nerdy. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I read your blog as a kind of voyeuristic exploration of the academic and plankton-y world. It’s great! And at the risk of sounding lame I have nominated you for the Versatil Blogger Award:
    Eek. Please keep posting. 🙂
